Publication Ethics

Antmind Journal of Islamic Jurisprudence and Social Studies is committed to upholding the highest ethical standards in the academic publishing process. Authors are expected to submit original work that has not been previously published elsewhere and to ensure the integrity of their data. Any form of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, is strictly prohibited. Authors must disclose any financial or personal conflicts of interest that may affect their research, and they should ensure that all co-authors have made substantial contributions and approved the final version of the manuscript. Additionally, if the research involves human participants or animals, authors are responsible for obtaining the appropriate ethical approval.

Editors of the journal are responsible for making unbiased decisions based on the quality and relevance of submitted manuscripts. They should handle submissions impartially and transparently, maintaining confidentiality throughout the review process. Editors must also disclose any conflicts of interest and recuse themselves from manuscripts where a conflict exists. In the event of ethical concerns or complaints from authors or reviewers, editors must investigate and address them promptly and professionally.

Reviewers play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of the journal by providing objective, constructive feedback. They must evaluate manuscripts confidentially, impartially, and without bias, focusing solely on the academic merit of the research. Reviewers should notify the editor if they identify any potential conflicts of interest or if they are unable to complete the review in a timely manner.

The publisher ensures the journal’s integrity by maintaining transparency and confidentiality in the publication process. The publisher will promptly address any instances of research misconduct, including plagiarism or data manipulation, by retracting or correcting affected articles as necessary. Furthermore, the publisher actively promotes adherence to ethical practices, ensuring that all stakeholders in the publishing process—authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher—work together to maintain the trustworthiness and reliability of the academic record.

In cases of research misconduct, such as plagiarism or data falsification, the journal will take swift and decisive action, including rejecting manuscripts with plagiarized content or fabricated data and imposing sanctions on the authors involved. Duplicate submission of the same manuscript to multiple journals simultaneously is strictly prohibited. Antmind Journal of Islamic Jurisprudence and Social Studies strives to maintain the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical conduct, ensuring that all published content is trustworthy and reliable and contributes to the advancement of knowledge in Islamic law and social studies.
