Digital Preservation and Archiving Policy

Antmind Review: Journal of Sharia and Legal Ethics, published by Antmind Youth Empower Foundation, is committed to ensuring the long-term accessibility, integrity, and preservation of its scholarly publications.

The journal recognizes that published research constitutes a permanent contribution to the scholarly record. Accordingly, digital preservation is an essential responsibility of the journal and its publisher.

This policy describes the journal's approach to maintaining publication archives, protecting digital content, supporting article discoverability, and developing reliable long-term preservation arrangements.

Journal Archives and Access

Antmind Review maintains an online archive of its published volumes, issues, and scholarly articles through its Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.

Published articles are made freely accessible through the journal's official website without subscription charges or embargo periods.

The journal's archive provides access to published articles and their associated bibliographic information, including article titles, author names, abstracts, publication details, and available full-text files.

The journal is committed to maintaining the accuracy and continuity of these records, including when publication metadata require correction or updates.

Digital Backup and Data Security

Antmind Youth Empower Foundation is responsible for establishing and maintaining appropriate backup and data-recovery arrangements for the journal's digital publishing infrastructure.

These arrangements are intended to protect published articles, bibliographic metadata, editorial records, and essential system data against accidental deletion, technical failure, unauthorized modification, or other disruptions.

The journal's backup strategy should include secure copies of publication files and databases, appropriate access controls, and procedures for verifying the integrity and recoverability of stored information.

Operational backup arrangements are managed separately from the journal's long-term digital preservation strategy.

Long-Term Digital Preservation

Antmind Review is committed to developing an independent long-term digital preservation arrangement to protect its scholarly content beyond the operational lifetime of its current website or publishing platform.

The journal identifies the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) as a potential preservation solution for its OJS-based publishing system.

PKP PN provides distributed digital preservation based on LOCKSS technology and is designed to support continued availability of scholarly content if the original publishing platform becomes permanently unavailable.

Participation in PKP PN is subject to technical eligibility, configuration, acceptance of the applicable preservation agreement, and successful content deposits.

The journal will identify any external preservation service as active only after participation and successful preservation deposits have been verified.

Information concerning confirmed preservation arrangements will be updated on the journal website as they become operational.

Persistent Identification and Metadata

Antmind Review assigns Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) to its published scholarly articles to support persistent identification, citation, and digital discoverability.

The journal is committed to maintaining accurate bibliographic metadata and ensuring that article identifiers continue to direct readers to the appropriate scholarly content.

Where changes to the journal's website address or publishing infrastructure occur, the publisher will make reasonable efforts to update DOI destination URLs and associated publication records.

DOI registration supports persistent identification but does not replace independent long-term preservation of article content.

Self-Archiving and Repository Deposits

Antmind Review supports responsible self-archiving and the broad dissemination of scholarly research.

Authors retain copyright in their works and may deposit submitted manuscripts, accepted manuscripts, and final published versions in institutional repositories, subject repositories, and other appropriate scholarly platforms.

The journal does not impose an embargo period on the deposit or distribution of these manuscript versions.

Authors sharing the published version are encouraged to include the original article citation, journal title, and DOI.

All reuse and distribution must respect the applicable Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0) and any separately identified third-party rights.

Continuity of Scholarly Access

In the event of changes to the publisher, hosting provider, website address, or journal management system, Antmind Review will make reasonable efforts to preserve its published articles, bibliographic metadata, and associated publication records.

If the journal ceases publication, the publisher will seek to maintain access to previously published content through its existing archives or verified external preservation arrangements.

Published articles will not ordinarily be deleted solely because the journal discontinues publication.

Corrections, expressions of concern, and retractions will be handled in accordance with the journal's publication ethics policies while preserving the transparency and integrity of the scholarly record.

Policy Responsibility and Review

Antmind Youth Empower Foundation, in coordination with the journal's editorial and technical management, is responsible for implementing and reviewing this policy.

The journal will periodically evaluate its archiving arrangements, backup procedures, and long-term preservation options to strengthen the reliability and accessibility of its scholarly publications.

Any material changes to the journal's preservation arrangements will be communicated through its official website.
