Publication Management
Antmind Review: Journal of Sharia and Legal Ethics implements a transparent, objective, and accountable publication management system to ensure the academic quality and integrity of every published manuscript. All submitted manuscripts are managed through an online journal management system and processed in accordance with established scholarly publishing standards and ethical principles.
1. Manuscript Submission and Initial Screening
All manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the journal’s online submission system and must comply with the journal’s Author Guidelines. Upon submission, the editorial team conducts an initial screening to assess the manuscript’s relevance to the journal’s scope, originality, structure, and adherence to formatting requirements. Manuscripts that do not meet the basic editorial criteria may be rejected at this stage without proceeding to peer review.
2. Peer Review Process
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are subjected to a double-blind peer review process, in which both the authors’ and reviewers’ identities are concealed to ensure impartial and objective evaluation. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field. Reviewers assess the manuscript’s academic rigor, methodological soundness, originality, ethical considerations, and contribution to the fields of Sharia and legal ethics.
3. Editorial Decision and Revision
Based on the reviewers’ evaluations and recommendations, the Editor makes one of the following decisions: acceptance, minor revision, major revision, or rejection. When revisions are required, authors are requested to revise their manuscripts in accordance with the reviewers’ and editor’s comments within a specified timeframe. Revised manuscripts may be re-evaluated to ensure that all concerns have been adequately addressed before a final decision is made.
4. Copyediting, Layout, and Publication
Manuscripts accepted for publication undergo copyediting and layout editing to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance with the journal’s style and citation standards. Authors may be asked to review the final version before publication. Accepted articles are published according to the journal’s publication schedule and are made available as open-access content.
5. Publication Ethics
Antmind Review: Journal of Sharia and Legal Ethics upholds high standards of publication ethics and is committed to preventing plagiarism, data fabrication, duplicate publication, and conflicts of interest. All parties involved in the publication process—including authors, editors, and reviewers—are expected to adhere to principles of academic integrity, fairness, and professionalism.
