Repository and Self-Archiving Policy
Antmind Review: Journal of Sharia and Legal Ethics, published by Antmind Youth Empower Foundation, is committed to promoting open access, scholarly visibility, knowledge dissemination, and the long-term accessibility of published research.
The journal supports Green Open Access by allowing authors to deposit and distribute different versions of their manuscripts through institutional repositories, subject-based repositories, personal academic websites, and other appropriate scholarly platforms.
Authors retain copyright in their scholarly works and are encouraged to make their research widely accessible while maintaining accurate attribution and publication records.
This policy is consistent with the journal's Copyright and Licensing Policy, Open Access Statement, and Digital Preservation and Archiving Policy.
Permitted Versions for Self-Archiving
Antmind Review allows authors to deposit the following manuscript versions without an embargo period.
Submitted Version (Preprint)
The submitted version is the manuscript prepared by the authors before formal peer review.
Authors may deposit this version in an institutional or subject-based repository, personal academic website, or appropriate scholarly platform.
Deposited manuscripts must be clearly identified as versions that have not undergone the journal's formal peer-review process.
If the manuscript is subsequently published, authors are encouraged to update the repository record with the citation and DOI of the final published article.
The availability of a submitted version in a repository does not guarantee acceptance for publication. Any relevant previous dissemination must be disclosed during submission.
Accepted Manuscript (Author Accepted Manuscript)
The accepted manuscript is the version approved for publication following peer review and required revisions, but before the journal's final copyediting, typesetting, and publication formatting.
Authors may deposit this version in an appropriate repository immediately after formal acceptance.
The deposited version should clearly identify its status as an accepted manuscript and, once available, include a link to the final published article.
Confidential reviewer comments, internal editorial correspondence, and unpublished third-party information must not be included in publicly deposited files without appropriate authorization.
Published Version (Version of Record)
The Version of Record is the final article formally published by Antmind Review, including the journal's approved formatting, bibliographic information, and DOI.
Authors may immediately deposit, share, reproduce, and distribute the published version through institutional repositories, subject repositories, academic websites, and other appropriate platforms.
The published article is distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), allowing redistribution and adaptation, including for commercial purposes, provided that the applicable attribution requirements are satisfied.
When sharing the published version, authors should retain its copyright and licensing information and provide an accurate reference to the original publication.
Embargo and Repository Restrictions
Antmind Review does not impose an embargo period on the self-archiving of submitted, accepted, or published manuscript versions.
Authors are not required to obtain additional permission from the journal to deposit their own manuscripts in appropriate repositories, subject to applicable copyright, confidentiality, and third-party rights.
The journal does not charge authors additional fees for repository deposits or the dissemination of their manuscripts.
Authors may comply with institutional or funding agency open-access requirements by depositing permitted manuscript versions in suitable repositories.
Repository deposits must not misrepresent the manuscript's peer-review status or create misleading publication information.
Copyright, Licensing, and Attribution
Authors retain copyright in their scholarly works and grant Antmind Review a non-exclusive right of first publication.
The final published article is made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
When sharing the Version of Record, authors and other users must provide appropriate attribution, a link to the applicable license, and an indication of changes where relevant.
Authors are encouraged to include the following information in repository records:
-
Article title and complete author names.
-
Journal title and publication details.
-
Publication year, volume, and issue.
-
Digital Object Identifier (DOI), when available.
-
A link to the final published article.
-
The applicable copyright and licensing statement.
-
A clear indication of the deposited manuscript version.
Materials belonging to third parties that are not covered by the article's open-access license remain subject to their applicable copyright and permission requirements.
Repository Selection and Scholarly Dissemination
Authors may select suitable repositories or scholarly platforms that support responsible research dissemination, stable access, and reliable bibliographic records.
Appropriate destinations may include university repositories, national or subject-based academic repositories, research institution archives, and personal academic websites.
Authors are encouraged to use repositories that support persistent identifiers, appropriate metadata, long-term accessibility, and clear version identification.
Repository records should distinguish the submitted manuscript, accepted manuscript, and final published article to avoid confusion between different stages of scholarly publication.
Where multiple versions are available, the final published Version of Record should be clearly identified as the authoritative journal publication.
Research Integrity and Responsibilities
Self-archiving must comply with the journal's publication ethics, copyright, authorship, and research integrity requirements.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that deposited files do not disclose confidential personal information, restricted research materials, or third-party content without appropriate permission.
The journal encourages accurate disclosure of previous manuscript dissemination during the submission process.
Depositing a manuscript in a repository does not exempt the work from editorial screening, originality assessment, or independent peer review.
Where published articles are subsequently corrected or retracted, authors are encouraged to update repository records with links to the relevant editorial notices.
Repository copies must not be presented in a way that conceals corrections, retractions, or other significant changes affecting the scholarly record.
Relationship to Digital Preservation
Author self-archiving supports the wider accessibility and dissemination of scholarly content but does not replace the journal's responsibility for maintaining its official archives and implementing appropriate long-term digital preservation arrangements.
Antmind Review remains responsible for managing its publication records, bibliographic metadata, and official article files through its journal platform and any verified preservation services.
The journal encourages authors to support the continued accessibility of their work through responsible repository deposits.
Policy Implementation and Transparency
The Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Office are responsible for ensuring that this policy is consistently communicated and aligned with the journal's open-access publishing practices.
Antmind Review will make its self-archiving permissions publicly available to authors, readers, institutions, and repository administrators.
Any material changes to repository permissions, copyright arrangements, or licensing terms will be communicated transparently through the journal's official website.
