Funding Disclosure and Sponsorship Policy

Antmind Review: Journal of Sharia and Legal Ethics, published by Antmind Youth Empower Foundation, is committed to ensuring transparency, accountability, and editorial independence in relation to research funding, institutional support, and sponsorship arrangements.

The journal recognizes that financial and non-financial support can contribute significantly to scholarly research and academic publishing. However, such support must not compromise research integrity, influence scholarly conclusions, or interfere with editorial and peer-review decisions.

This policy establishes the responsibilities of authors, editors, sponsors, and the publisher regarding the disclosure and management of funding sources.

The journal follows internationally recognized principles of transparency and publication ethics, including guidance from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), Open Access Scholarly Publishing Association (OASPA), and World Association of Medical Editors (WAME).

Research Funding Disclosure

All authors must disclose financial and relevant non-financial support received for the research presented in their manuscripts.

Funding disclosures should identify the organization or institution providing support, the relevant grant or award number where applicable, and the nature of the assistance received.

Relevant sources of support may include:

  • Research grants from governmental or non-governmental organizations.

  • Institutional research funding from universities or academic institutions.

  • Financial assistance from foundations, research centers, or private organizations.

  • Scholarships, fellowships, or other research-related financial awards.

  • Sponsored research projects and collaborative research arrangements.

  • Significant non-financial contributions, including access to research facilities, specialized equipment, or other institutional resources.

Authors must provide complete and accurate funding information during manuscript submission.

All research articles must include a Funding Statement, including when no external funding was received.

Where research has been conducted without specific external financial support, authors must explicitly state that no such funding was received.

Funding disclosures should be consistent with the information submitted through the journal's manuscript management system.

Role of Funders and Research Sponsors

Authors must disclose whether funding organizations or research sponsors participated in the design, execution, analysis, interpretation, or reporting of the research.

Where applicable, the role of funders should be described clearly in the manuscript.

Funding organizations and sponsors must not improperly influence research findings, suppress unfavorable results, require misleading interpretations, or restrict the accurate reporting of scholarly evidence.

Authors retain responsibility for the intellectual content, methodological integrity, and conclusions of their research.

Where sponsors have participated in the research process, authors must disclose the nature and extent of their involvement.

The journal may request clarification when funding arrangements raise concerns regarding research independence, transparency, or potential conflicts of interest.

Funding disclosure does not automatically indicate a conflict of interest or compromise the academic value of a manuscript. Any competing interests must also be declared in accordance with the journal's Conflict of Interest and Editorial Independence Policy.

Journal Funding and Editorial Independence

Antmind Review is published by Antmind Youth Empower Foundation and operates under an open-access publishing model.

The journal's publicly disclosed Article Processing Charges (APCs) contribute to the costs associated with editorial administration, manuscript management, publication, and maintenance of the journal's publishing platform.

Any additional financial support, institutional funding, sponsorship, or subsidy received for journal operations must be disclosed transparently where applicable.

The journal does not charge subscription fees for access to its published scholarly articles.

Financial support must not influence editorial decisions, reviewer selection, manuscript acceptance, or publication priority.

The publisher, sponsors, funding institutions, and collaborating organizations must respect the independence of the Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board.

No individual or organization may obtain preferential editorial treatment, guaranteed acceptance, or influence over scholarly evaluation through financial contributions or institutional relationships.

All submitted manuscripts are evaluated according to the journal's established editorial screening and double-blind peer-review procedures.

Antmind Review publishes only regular issues and does not offer sponsored special issues, guest-edited thematic issues, or preferential publication arrangements.

Sponsorship Transparency and Accountability

Any sponsorship arrangement involving Antmind Review must be consistent with the journal's academic mission, publishing ethics, and editorial independence.

Sponsorship must not compromise the transparency, credibility, or impartiality of published research.

The journal will disclose relevant sponsorship arrangements and identify sponsoring organizations where such arrangements exist.

Sponsorship does not confer authority over manuscript evaluation, editorial appointments, peer-review outcomes, or publication decisions.

Any sponsored communication or promotional material must be clearly distinguishable from independently reviewed scholarly content and must not be presented as peer-reviewed research.

The journal is responsible for identifying and appropriately managing potential conflicts arising from sponsorship or financial relationships.

Funding Information and Publication Transparency

Funding declarations are reviewed as part of the journal's editorial and publication procedures.

Authors must ensure that funding information remains accurate and inform the Editorial Office if a relevant omission or error is identified.

Where applicable, the journal may include funding agency names, grant numbers, and related identifiers in published article metadata to improve transparency and scholarly discoverability.

Materially inaccurate or omitted funding information identified after publication may be addressed through clarification or correction, in accordance with the journal's established publication ethics procedures.

Deliberate concealment or misrepresentation of funding relationships may lead to further editorial investigation.

The journal periodically reviews its funding disclosure practices to maintain consistency with international standards of ethical scholarly publishing.
